Referral programmes reward introductions to a service. Depending on the programme, the new customer, the referrer or both may receive a benefit after qualifying actions.
Read the invitation first
Check that you are eligible, which link or code you must use, and what actions need to be completed. Opening an account alone may not be enough.
Count the cost
Look for minimum spending, deposits, fees, subscriptions and the time until payout. A discount or bill credit is different from withdrawable cash.
